Just bought a STL 8, This is my "road cue" and will be the cue I'll be playing with in some tourneys this year.. Why? well its new, and I like it...lol Speacial thanks to Erik Lee.. If you people dont know erik, visit www.erikleecues.com

The STL8 is my favorite of the current Schons. I saw one in person the other day and thought it looked even better than in the pictures.
 
I too have a new cue. Schon LTD 235 (8 points)

Schon makes great cues and the one you have is really nice! The other Schons pictured are great as well. I had the chance to play with one recently and was really impressed. :cool:
 
What kind of tip do you use on your Schon? All of a sudden I have been having miscue problems. The tip does not grab and just roll off the ball. I have had it since March.

I use a willards shaper to roughen the tip which makes it hold chalk better.
 
Hmm, I havent had any problems with my tip, you could use a tip pick or my favorite the tip taper, (the flat thing with a rough texture).. When this tip wears out, I like a tiger products soft tip, the white one... alot of people I know like Triangle tips on thiers... HTH..

Thanks, I like it, and yes, to me it does look better in person, Ive never had a schon cue I didnt like......

Im just starting to reach a level of confortability with the STL 8, and I can run out just about anytime I need to, I also have a new cue to pay for, so I'll hit some tourneys to redeem my investment.. Then... Im calling YOU out... lol...
