The shaft was made by sugar tree.Measurements were taken at VF. Perfect match. I personally find it hard to compare the Scruggs tapper and its hit to anything unless it is a Frey or a Searing. The other shaft is a solid hitter but how do you improve on the best! Nick

Thanks, Hunter! Not sure....I have a Skip Weston coming sometime this summer...and Mr. Searing's got my name on his list...but other than that, I'm at the mercy of my ever-changing mind!

Very nice Scruggs !! I know the hit is great, I love mine. I also have a simple Scruggs, 5 veneers on BE maple with ebony butt sleeve, white ivorene (?) buttcap, double silver rings on ABCDE and smooth leather wrap. Best hitting cue ever !! Congrats on your new cue !
