My new Webb

Just thought I'd bring this thread back to life considering I had the opportunity to hit with this cue a couple of weeks ago (Thanks Paul).
The hit was amazing. Nice and stiff with great feedback. Not many cues feel this comfortable and if you are ever going to sell it, I have first dibs ;)

Your too kind. I doubt that I'll ever sell this que as I like it too much. You can never say never and everything has its price, but the value of it to me is way out of wack with what its really worth.

I don't want to be one of those guys that says this is the best hitting cue and then its up on ebay.

Thanks again Koop for kind words,

Paul

you know....people cringed when they saw the inlays for another thread. these inlays aren't sharp at the points and nice things are being said about them. Dzuricky isn't the only one using cnc for inlays, etc. obviously mr. webb does also. if we're going to make comments about one, make them about another. Mr webb does nice work and I don't mean to speak badly about his work...but here we go again. speak against all instead of just one. I thought Dzuricky's cue was fantastic and the buyer will enjoy the way it plays. I know I did!

not CNC

I've been to Mike's shop and I can honestly say he does NOT use or own a CNC. The rounded edge of the inlays comes from the pantograph and would require hand cutting the corners. Not that I'm a cuemaker but thats what I've seen

You're probably right in that the owner will enjoy it but what does that have to do with pbat's cue and Mike's work?
I think you're in the wrong thread. Take it up with the people you have an issue with.

maybe you didn't read what I said about the inlays? you guys critisize so much about others' work but as soon as you get one in your hands...it's the greatest cue in the world. I already said mike does good work as far as I'm concerned...but if you're going to comment on one cue's inlays, then comment on all of them. don't be prejudicial.

Show me where I commented on the other, or on the inlays of this cue for that matter and don't call me prejudiced. Go check your facts and I'll accept a full apology later.

that statement wasn't meant to you personally...that comment was meant for every prejudicial "player" on the site. as far as mike's work...mike does nice work, as I've said before. let's not get ahead of ourselves with an apology owed to you. you know...you people don't have to like me...like jimbo...you have to deal with me though like it or not. my main point is...if we're going to make comments on one, make them about all of them. there are alot of people on this site, who make comments about almost every cue posted here, and if that statement includes or excludes you, the rest of us will live on. personally....I can't think of any problems we've ever had. so if I offended you, it wasn't meant. wether you like or dislike me, I'll live on, and feel free not to do buisness with me if you don't want to. again...my statements were meant to every "player" on here who has something bad to say about someone else's cue. and...nice title potty mouth!!

I didn't dislike you before you jumped in and quoted something I had to say and now you're lumping me in with everyone you have a beef with. I don't care either way. We can remain neutral with one another or you can continue this line of crap involving me.
Give me a break on the potty mouth shit too. I think you'd be a tad bit upset if someone used your quote to make a point about others you seem to have a problem with.

Duke,

I'll make it real simple so you can understand what I'm saying. Mike doesn't use CNC. Period end of story. Now if you want to make a comment on how sharp/or not the inlays are thats fine, but no one is bashing DZ work in this thread. I happen to own one of his SP's and know he is a fine gentleman to work with. I'm not bashing anyones rounded inlays so don't tread on me. There is no need for you to thread-jack around here. I've stayed away from your juvenile posts and their lack of intelligent content, if you want to pick another fight on the forum don't make it be with me......

Now go away and sell another one of your best hitting cues ever.....

Then bitch piss and moan when nobody buys it because of your shitty attitude when you post here....

Good buy sir.

You want to know the funny thing? The people in that thread didn't say anthing specifically about Dzuricky. They just said that, in their eyes, it is a shame to have a cue with sharp points and rounded inlays. I happen to agree on that point. If I can't have sharp diamonds or spears then they won't be in my cue no matter who builds it.

That's the point, it takes a little extra time to do things right and sometimes people aren't willing to do it. It has nothing to do with Pantograph or CNC it's the cutter.
