Tony - looks sweet!!! Now you have me excited. I just sent my 16 year old Olney player in for two new shafts and Jeff recommended the micarta ferrules. All I've played with are the ivory so I can't wait to get it back......it's going to be a long 3-4 weeks without it

Robin

Hang in there it will be worth your while

Joe, you might need a crow bar but i have no doubt that you could make much more than a few bucks. Robin, got the cue its an oldie but still a goldie, you have taken great care to keep the cue in such great shape. thank you anyone for the kind words. Jeff Olney

Thank you for the post Jeff. I had to get all of the hair off this cue after letting Joe touch it...;)

That's a good looking cue! I got one I've had ordered from Jeff about a month ago and haven't put it down yet. He makes one heck of a cue. How do you think the yellow ferrules play compared to his standard ones. Rusty

They play better IMO. The hit feels better and it has less deflection. Even Jeff agrees with me, I'm having micarta ferrules installed in all the Olneys I have coming.

Thanks, Ted and Rusty if you guys want the yellow ferrules i would be happy to put them on . i had a couple other guys just contact me to change their order to the MasonH ferrule, great ferrule love everything about them. i would like to use them on every cue. Jeff Olney

Jeff, I'd like to try them on both of the cues I've got ordered. I sure am loving the tulip wood I just got, its a real player for sure. Thanks Rusty
