My newest Tascarella.....

Got this a couple of weeks ago...full spliced rosewood, went with no wrap, Hoppe style with no rubber bumper.

Pete decided to try something new which I had no problems with. He wanted to do a flat faced ivory joint. I'm glad I said yes, this one hits the best out of the 4! ( I don't actually use or chalk any of them....just hits with center ball, but it's still noticeable in the feel.)

The last couple of pics are old...I was too lazy to take them out for a group shot. One day, I'll get a pic of all 4 together.

No, that's a different cue. The new one has different colored veneers.
Although, one could say, it's essentially the same style and look, except I requested a wrap for the old one and the new one, without.

They are both very nice cues,i did notice the different veneer colors, just thought it might be the pics.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Beautiful cue those capped ivory joints are hard hitters. A friend of mine has a Harvey Martin with capped ivory Joint-nice. Tascarellas are easy on the eyes. Beautiful Cues!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the new one the best, not to say i wouldnt like any of the others though...........:D

Very nice execution of a simple players cue by one of the best in the industry.
Thanks for sharing the pictures of your latest addition and hopefully a group picture of all four will come in the near future.

Very true, but they are sweet playing instruments.;)

The worst part of it all is he said he doesn't chalk and play with them. I'll never understand that I guess. I buy cues to play with and I can't imagine having a cue that I wouldn't chalk. Even if I eventually was able to spend a couple hundred thousand on a cue I'd still play with it from time to time otherwise what's the point?!

Zack <~~ Thinks if you have a great hitting cue you should play with it.

Zeeder...you sound like my wife!?! :D ;) :p

She says the same thing, why do you have all those cues and not even use them? I can't really give you an answer...maybe I got the habit when I used to collect comic books. I would buy 2, one to read and one goes straight to a bag and board. I used to say that I would buy 2 cues from the same cuemaker...one plain one to shoot with and a fancy one to collect, but it just hasn't happened like that.

If it makes it any better, out of the 4 James White I have, I use one of them as my playing cue now.

Brian,

You can have my amboyna burl handle Murrell instead.

BTW, have you been to the new Amsterdam yet...where the old Corner's used to be?

No. Haven't been there yet. Hope to make my way over there soon. Maybe we can meet up there sometime and play a little.

Nice cue!

Beautiful cue, but I, like others have said, buy cues to collect AND play with. Don't want such great hitting cues that would never get used, that would be a shame!

I'm not that bad....there's worst cases than me.

I know someone who is pretty well off, he supposedly has like 30+ Balabushkas and Szambotis. But, everytime I see him...what is he using? A Lucasi.

I would at least use one of them. :p
