I stumbled upon this Scruggs cue at a discount store:o . I've been playing with it for the last couple of days and I swear it plays pretty damn sporty, it's been an eye opener that a piloted stainless steel 5/16x14 could feel so good me being a huge fan of the big pin wood to wood joint.

Discount store...

You need to point me in the direction of that discount store! That cue is beautiful.

That's hilarious, but seriously it is a very nice cue.

I was at a thrift store and I was talking to this guy who told be about a new place that had a bunch of nice cues.
It turned out to be a Ross Dress For Less, and the cues were these $9.99 imports in a plastic wrapper with a hole to hang it on the wall.
I've never heard the end of it from my girlfriend, but I did get some new tube socks out of the deal.

That must have been a while back, the last time I saw "tube socks" being sold in stores was when I was still in Junior High and that was 28 years ago:sorry: .

Thats a very, very nice find. The veneer combo works perfectly with the woods.
