Today I climb back into the ring again. I've spent all week telling myself that I can beat you. I might not do it today or even this year, but I will beat you sooner or later. My reasoning behind this is simply that your skills have remained the same as I get stronger and stronger with every passing day. Mark my words that I will beat you and when I do it will be the saddest day of your life.
The first time I climbed into the ring with you it was a disaster. You beat me into a bloody mess. You may have thought you saw the last of me, but I got up and dusted myself off to come back at you tomorrow. As time went on your knockout blows have turned into glancing blows. You have been winning them all, but not all have been by knockout now. I have studied your every move as you are my most formidable opponent.
You may think that you have me on the ropes, but you have forgotten that I love the fight. With every time you beat me I learn something new. Every time I learn from my mistakes the blood you drew callouses over. Every time I get a new callous it makes it harder for you to draw blood on me and that makes it harder for you to win.
Tomorrow I will climb back into the ring with you. I will carefully remove my cues and you best be ready for another stare down because it's going to get messy.
Sorry if this was too long for some. I just thought this up off the top of my head and figured that I would share. This is more or less how I equate learning this game.
