My review of the "Double Refund" Chuck Starkey cue.

The base of the shaft is 21.89. The pin is much larger then the pin on the cue that had the wooden pin on the shaft that I was comparing it to yesterday. The pin on this cue is a hair under 2 inches and 12.55mm at the base.
As for it playing like a 1 piece, I cant honestly say, I think we all have used a craptastic 1 piece a few times haven't we.:)

is there a wrap on the cue? or is it solid wood?

i cant tell if the pic is prewrap or finished product..

how much trouble is it for the the cue to fit in a standard cue case?

No wrap, it is curly maple.
 
It fits in my wife's Instroke just fine (my case is full and she had a open spot). :)
The handle is indeed Curly Maple, if you remember back, that was the reasoning behind the first "refund", the original handle had a sap stain and Mr. "Zen" thought it was unacceptable.
Unacceptable enough to buy a second time at that.:rolleyes:

Yes Jeff (rackem), I really need to buy myself a camera for Christmas.:p
