It was the lockup nuts for a nineball game.
$100 race to seven and I get the 3, 6, and 9 wild.
Too bad I didnt ask for the breaks also. :(
I got two shots in seven games and they were damm good safeties.
I felt like a clown.

So if you had the one out wild, you still would have lost big! It is quite amazing just how big a spot an A+ player can give a C or below which i learned the hard way.

Or just how much a World Class player can give a regional dude. Didnt LilJon get the 8 and the last 4 in an ahead set from Marcus and lose at the DCC last year? Was something like that.

Nostroke,
I was told that Lil John got the 6 and the last 3 from Marcus. When I retired for the evening, Lil John was one game ahead. When I came back 6 or 7 hours later, Marcus was 1 game ahead (around 10 A.M. at that point). Marcus was scheduled to play that morning, and won what seemed like 9 in a row (though Lil John might have gotten one or two games). It didn't look to me like the weight really made much difference. It looked like Lil John could have GIVEN the last 3 and had about the same outcome.

Ain't that the truth. I am a new player, shooting and hour a day for about three years. APA SL4 and Strong TAP 3.

I played in a 9 ball tournament, and was getting a lot of weight. I thought I couldn't lose.

That is until the game started! I found out that even scratching on the break can lose the game quite easily against a strong player.

Still, it was lots of fun to play with someone so strong.

I saw Reid Pierce give up the 1 out once for 10 or 20 a game on a Diamond with 4 1/4 pockets and the kid did nothing but rack and kick at balls for 10+ games. It was NOT pretty.

Poor kid thought he had a chance...and no it wasn't me LOL

 maybe he should have asked for the breaks.
