Just want to get some outside feed back about some of our local legends. Anyone out there have any good road stories about playing Steve Bourada, Giorgio Giaccone, or any of the other greats from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Bourada had a great match against Keith McCready in Vegas a few years back. Anyone who saw will surely remember that one.

Ok, let the stories flow!

The only time i saw a Canadian come through my parts here was in the early 90's , guy named Watson? guy was tough , played for 2 days here and he walked away with about 5k.

Gerry Watson, "The Ghost" no doubt. Very entertaining fellow. A bit up there in years now-maybe 64 Im guessing.

That would be Gerry, all right. Damn good player at one time, saw him in the upstate NY area quite a bit in late '80s, early '90s.

The Ghost

Gerry is a heck of a nice guy. He is as fun to talk to as he is to watch play. Agreed he was better in his prime, but he is still a thrill to watch especially on a small box.
