you know, i see alot of negative comments about bb and the us open. yea bb is not the most politically correct person out there and he has made many mistakes, personally and business wise. but make no mistake, he has always been very passionate about the us open, the pool industry and his pool hall for the last 40 yrs. what gets me is every year i hear the same crap about bb and the open. but guess what people still go, player's still come and its still one of the most prestigious
tournaments and title to have on your resume as a professional pool player.
how many of you naysayer's out there have owned and operated a successful pool hall for the last 40yrs which has not only provided a living but also has
taken care of his family especially in today's economical times.bet that's a short list !!! let me just say this. when you have put on a top world professional pool tournament and have owned and operated your own pool hall for the last 40yrs. then i will be the first to jump on your bandwagon. until then if you don't like the way bb runs HIS tournament and pool hall. don' go to the open. don't watch it on ppv and dont' play in his pool hall. Get your own open and pool hall and you can run them anyway you see fit or let all the NAYSAYER'S out there tell you how it should be done.
make no mistake. bb is a survivor. right, wrong, or indifferent.what's funny is ALL YOU FOLKS ARE THE ONES THAT HAVE HELPED HIM ALL THESE YEARS !! BB THANKS YOU AND ALL THE PLAYER'S, FANS AND PATRONS FOR THE LAST 40YRS. MAY YOU ALL HAVE AS WONDERFUL AND SUCCESSFUL 40YRS AS BB HAS. OVER AND OUT!!

When you are the head of a very prominent tournament you should run it like a proffessional not a sauced up turd. Have some proffessional ethics. Do something for a sport that could be as great in the public eye as tennis or golf if cared for correctly. The us open is another black eye for a game i love.
