Cary Dunn swept through a field of 24 players at the 8th annual NC Senior 9 ball chamopionship held at Babineaus Billiards on Nov. 14th in Raleigh, NC. Cary is a well known player out of Virginia and went undefeated in the 24 man tournament which is open to anyone over 50. After defeating Tony Ayers for the hot seat, Cary awaited a rematch for the title against Tony who was the winner of the west side of the bracket.
The tournament is open to alll over 50 with prize money also earned by the top two players over 60. Previous winners have included, Frank Tullos, Jack Stenner, Younger Champman, and 8 time World Champion Nick Varner have all been previous winners of this annual event. As usual old friends got to renew acquaintences and exchange stories from years past. A good time was had by all.
