Hello,

Who plays in the NE 9 ball tour, Curly's event? I know he lets D player in and open players as well. I was just wondering how many D and C players enter his events, and how they far?

Do you feel it is a good way to learn to play in tournaments, or are you just racking balls?

You'll get conflicting replies on your questions from....yea, play, it's a good learning experience!......to...what? are you crazy?....it's just throwing your cash away!

IMO C or D players should look for tourneys that fit their speed at first. Going to an "open" event and watching, at that C/D level, will do as much for your game as playing.

The only thing I can see C/D's getting from playing an "open" event would be a little seasoning, and that feeling we all get playing better players....which is a good thing.

If the entry fee is not a lot of money to you to, and you want to play, by all means get in the ring.

Good luck, Gerry
