You are welcome for the link on the rules. Where do you play in the Chicago area? We have straight pool leagues at Red Shoes and at the Illinois Billiard Club.
By the way, I did not get an 83 ball run. That note in my signature takes you to an "83 ball run" by a guy that used to post in this forum. Some guys will pretend like they have a higher run than they do, for whatever reason. Some just say it, and they are hard to catch. This video link is to a guy who doctored one of his video runs to make it look like he ran 83 and we figured out how he doctored it and shunned him.
My high run is 57 and a video link to it is just above that in my signature. It is very hard to see where I spliced it.
Playing 14-1
I play mostly in bars. I just started playing 14-1 at home. I suk at it. Im a break and run 8 or 9 ball player but this game has me stummped. I love it. Dont worry a few more weeks woodshedding and ill be ready to try somthing out side my home. I do pop in at redshoes every now and then . but mostly the bars.
