I'm in need of a 4 butt/4 shaft hard case and the only one I can find is a Porper case in the Mueller's catalog. I know someone out there has one for sale at a lower price! Help me out if you can, please!
Thanks!

Wow Janet,

That is going to be a rare configuration to find...be easier to buy a cheapie 4x8 and leave the other tubes empty. Good luck with your search though.

try to find a 3but/1shaft case :D that will be harder. maybe he just want a smaller case then a 4x8 ;)

Case

Have you ever carried a full 3X6 or 3X7, just get two 2X4s and carry what you need.
I hate/love my 3X7 its way too bulky but instroke is the best case around

I agree with Pauly....I still carry a 3x7 Instroke with 2 cues in it because someone is always giving me their cue or shafts to work on and I need the space to carry them around. My favorite case was an old 2x4 Its George...nice and compact and light. A 4x case is going to put a real strain on your shoulder, but if that is what you need, good luck finding one. 4x4 is a tough configuration to find...(4 19oz cues = 76oz plus weight of case and extra shafts, etc...feels like a ton after walking around a couple hours at SBE, etc)

Odd ...

Why do you need for 4 butts? Are you carrying 2 playing
cues, a Break cue, and what else?

My solution would be:

Buy Action Elite Eln35 3 x 5 soft/hard case from
http://www.pooldawg.com
for 79.20 with free shipping (I have one and really like it), and then
buy a cheap soft case to carry the extra butt and 1 shaft.
Very good wide padded shoulder strap, and very good hard rubber
handle on the case.

I personally would look for a 4 x 8, as it would in the future have a better resale value than a 4 x 4:o

I carry a 3X5 because I'm always looking for a good deal on a cue. Sometimes I keep them. Sometimes I try to sell them for........uh........(starting to sweat)........A profit! There I said it!

The 3 x 5, IMO, is the right size to carry. I have a 4 x 8, which is too
heavy when full, but the 3 x 5 is okay (has good padded shoulder strap).
I think for the serious player, that they tend to grow out of a 2 x 4. I would
hate to spend a lot of good money on a 2 x 4 and have it end up being too
small. Plus, I have a Break/Jump cue and another jump cue that I carry.
