My friend picked up an old used Kim Steel 9-foot table at an excellent price, but while trying to level it, he must’ve torqued up the slate leveler screws too tight and completely busted the center piece of slate.
Does anyone know where he might be able to find a replacement center slate or a complete set of all three slates, preferably Kim Steel? I’m guessing possibly another manufacturer’s 9’ 1-inch thick center slate piece could be modified to work.
He resides in northwest NC / northeast TN, but he’d likely be willing to drive a considerable ways to pick it up if necessary. Thanks!
