i was just talking to a guy who was trying to sell me a cue...

i couldnt get a pic, but can give a good description...

protaper shaft with no collar

the joint was different, although i've seen it before. the shaft threaded into the butt and was about 2 inches of wood thread.

the butt of the cue looked like a VERY nice finish birdseye maple, with what MAY have been a cocobolo grip, with another light brown wood forearm(not the same birdseye as the butt) the joint collar on the butt was a light white color, but i'm not nearly educated enough to know what the material was.

no points or anything like that.

no marking other than at the top of the forearm it read

dennis dickerman 2.92

it might not of actually said dickerman, because the 'ick' area was very scribbly. it was written in cursive.

please let me know what you may think this cue is worth, he was only asking 20 dollars, but i didnt feel like wasting money on something worth nothing if its a cheap cue.

idcue!

hey chief, sounds like a dennis deickman cue. should be well worth the $20 you mentioned. you could probably have NO trouble getting your money back out of the cue. some people like DD's cues, some don't. i would give you $30 plus shipping right off the bat! and i definitely don't need more cues.

thanks for the offer... already got a pm for a little more than that...

if anybody else has an estimate on what its WORTH is(not just what you'll give me :) ) i would like to know, thanks already to those of you who have responded.
