I spoke to Barry the other day about VF, I cant remember where he said to stay. I'd like to stay close as possible, I have never been there and have no-clue whate the hotel situation is, where they are etc. I dont care what it costs me(I should but I dont), also what airport do I fly into???

I realize these are lame questions but for what ever reason I kinda never paid any attention to the area my whole life and its all forign to me. I know my wayh around Zimbabwe an Munich ok but at VF i'm lost, so please help me. I have juice with Amex to get a room maybe. I have to stay alone because I'm on the phone working odd hours and am VERY loud, even when I room with someone tavelling I have 2 hotel rooms, I staywith my friend and watch movies, talk, hang out etc. and use the second room as a office, that way it dosent bother the other guy.

So please help me. thanks:sorry:

Here is a link to the hotels although it does not have the Scantion listed...it may be part of the Radison. Either of those is where you want to stay.

Hotels Link

You will want to fly into the Philadelphia Airport.

Eric,

here is the info I could gather from their site.

1)About the Convention Center
The Valley Forge Convention Center is located at 1160 First Avenue in King of Prussia, PA. You can call them at 610-337-2000 The center's website.

2)Airport question
They offer an airport shuttle service as it seems, here's the info:
The Shuttles departs from the Airport Ground Transportation Center every 30 minutes from 6am-midnight. Reservations can be made by calling Tropiano at 215-643-5397.

Also read:
All major airlines fly into Philadelphia International Airport. Tropiano Shuttle (215) 643-5397 provides limousine service every hour on the hour for the 45 minute ride to the airport. Cost is approximately $20.00.

3) Accomodation
You may want to choose the Radisson Inn [$126/night - (888)267-1500] as 'the Radisson Inn is the hotel that is connected to the main floor of the expo. For those who have been to the show before, the Radisson is the hotel that is down that really long hallway :)'

I also sent you an e-mail some time ago, if you have time, please advise.

I would bet the radison and the scanticon are booked. They do have "fantasy" suites that I believe are open but are expensive, from what I have heard. I have not seen them myself. I figure with all your back trouble walking the lot to get to the show may be a pain. It may be worth your while to ask about those rooms. Chris.

They are booked for pool players rates! :p

I'm sure suites are still available

I hope I can make it down there, and meet some new people. Last year I did the 6 hour drive there at 6 am, and then left at midnight. Was a long day, but totally worth it.
