Life shouldn't be this difficult.
I've looked on at least 4 AZ threads and I've spent an hour or so searching the web looking for an 8 foot, two or four lamp, fluorescent light fixture, with a hooded reflector.
I'm trying to source one from a national retailer such as Lowes or Depot; someplace I can just run over and pick one up, and hopefully someplace that I can also locate after my move to Denver.
I find tons of lighting strips, but none so far that come with the reflector hood.
Some commercial sites offer them, but then I get all bogged down in technical jargon. Darn, just give me a stupid eight footer in a box and I'll be really, really happy. Looks are irrelevant as it's going in an unfinished basement installation and my only concern is gobs of uniform light output.
