Need a Mechanic to deliver and install a table in Canaan, Connecticut

It is relevant as I don't think Diamonds come with packaging that Glen has to get rid of.
He also probably won't use a 1 or 2 batteries putting it together

Man you make me laugh. Get over it. My tables may take two batteries, I don't mind they are built very well, people like you make it hard to sell a good import table, you have so many different things to say about them, that are completely untrue. Yes there is a good amount of hardware, but what is wrong with additional hardware. It's better than just a few bolts here and there.

Import tables like everything else causes American companies to go out of business, I think there is something wrong with that. In general the more nuts and bolts there are to a table is just more to go wrong in the future. In comparison an antique table has the quality built into the table and will outlast any table imported Imo and that's giving them a 100 year headstart.

I am sure your tables are designed well enough but that doesn't mean they will be put together well. Also many times they go through great lengths to mask the fact that they use cheap veneer and finish over mdf which has no strength. Slate quality is often not up to snuff as well.

It's a new table right? What do you do if the slate is crowned?

Like I said before you base all you know off of complete BS fallacies. None of the tables use a veneer over MDF they are solid wood, actual wood.

The slate is brazilian not chinese. Is that up to snuff for you, or you really don't have much to say about that?

Don't begin to try to teach me about how pool tables are made or how manufacturers use techniques to hide MDF, I get it.

Don't try that crap you do on every other forum and ask me questions like how do you fix crowned slate. That is NOT what this is about and I won't even begin to humor a guy with way too much time on his hands.

With as much time you have spent on this today a pool table could have been delivered to you!

I never said your table was mdf. What is this is about? You attacking my refusal to work. Using words like Eager in caps etc. Don't like it, I was being nice and then you started on me with nonsense

I'm not attacking I told you that you did not seem interested when I spoke to you. You went through one thing after the next with me, each time sighting something I never said. You brought up price although I have never once mentioned it. You brought up construction, when I never did. It really is over with I have found a company to help me. John I have no problem with you, but I think your views on tables that arent Brunswick are a bit fuzzy.

I feel the same but don't think for one second that I am behind Brunswick as it stands today. In fact I think Diamond is one of my favorite companies in respect to their efforts in making a better pool table and pool in general. Have a good day Chris. I am sorry I do have time on my hands with this iPhone. Ps. I am not in any other forums, is there another otlb somewhere like me? God isn't one enough

One is too much!:D Diamond is a great company but not everyone needs a diamond. Those tables are very expensive, if they could bring out a inexpensive furniture style table I would do great with them.

Ok let me just say I have done the pick up from the freight terminal thing and its a pain in the a$$. We will do it but it does cost.... and not 250. Shipping to a freight terminal is a huge saver for the shipper ( several hundred dollars). My brother has 20 years in with Yellow freight so i know what the savings to the shipper are by shipping to a terminal rather than the final destination. Also having done installations for companies that deliver straight to the customers house i never heard anyone complain about boxes. If you have room for a pool table, then you have room for a few boxes while you wait a couple days for someone to come out and put it together. And from the sounds of things this customer has been waiting for more than a few days. Also its a lot easier for a customer to open those boxes and see if something is scratched, dented, broken etc. (it doesn't take a mechanic for that). But anyway those are just my random thoughts and have nothing to do with this since I'm not driving to Conn to put it together. However the point of my post was for John. I just broke down a Brunswick Greenbriar and loaded it for a guy going to Conn. I don't know your exact location up there but if Dennis calls you for an assemble around Hartford that is what the table is. I told him to look you up but if you want to PM me a phone number I will relay it to my customer for you if your interested. ( Oh and by the way i don't think we can count what Glen complains about garbage or otherwise. If you got to charge as much as he does you probably wouldn't complain about anything lol.)
