I took about 10 minutes of video on my phone in hi-def mp4 format (1.5 Gig). I uploaded it to Youtube and the quality is much less. I didn't mess with the format of the file at all. I see lots of Youtube videos over an hour long that are excellent quality. Am I missing something?
Also I uploaded to Vimeo because I thought Youtube had a limit on file size. It turns out Vimeo has a 500 meg limit, so I have to convert the file to lower quality before uploading. Youtube is so much easier because it accepts the mp4 format... it's just the lower quality thing I don't get. I did google around some on the subject, but I figured I'd come to the place where people are actually uploading high quality pool videos to see what they are doing.
Thanks.
