few years ago after a local tournament all the best hitters were left hanging around. Alot of bragging boasting and big talk... but no action. So somone suggested a trick shot contest for 5 bucks each to pass the time.
You get 3 attempts to make the shot and everyone involed would vote on the best trick shot majority rules. Well after everyone put there 5 on the bar (a nice Pile of 5's) they start shooting. Player after player took a turn some were pretty amazing. Well when we think its done and started to vote (argue) over who had the best trick shot. We realize probably the best shooter there hasn't shot and was sitting quietly in the corner. He says I only have 1 good trick shot but I'll need a volunteer. This wide eyed fairly new player nicknamed the
"HUNCHBACK of NO GAME" says I'll help.

So he sets a quarter 1 diamond behing the spot and has hunchback stand behind to "verify it changes from heads to tails". He shoots and the cueball skips off hitting him square in the balls. You hear oooff it still heads. Our hero says my bad I really can make this shot and flip the coin. I get 3 attempts it won't happen again.

So second time you hear oooowww still heads (standing a little further back it hit his knee this time). Well
3rd times a charm.... finally Hunchback stands beside the rail rather than behind the quarter. He says I could never make that shot you can have my 5.

We were all laughing so hard plus at that point we realized he had made his intended shot 2 out of 3 times. We had only made our shot once. We gave the money to him (I think he split it with Hunchback for an Ice Pack).
