need advice in draw shot

hello azbilliards members,i have a problem i can't make a draw shot properly when i shot under/below the CB instead of drawing/rolling back the CB to me the ball is stop or they call stop ball,, cue level is good,,,do i have to elevate more angle my cue or what????i grip the cue firm hard and more speed like 2.5 speed(16 diamond + 8 diamond straight o the head string).. how can i make a proper draw shot/monster draw shot???

take a stripe ball and set it on the table so that the stripes are parrallel with the floor
use this as the cue ball
place an object ball one diamond away
chalk your stick and aim at the lowest portion of the stripe
see how much draw you get and how close to the bottom stripe are you hitting
usually if you dont get enough draw you arent low enough
im not an instructor

Try holding the cue loosely and let the cue do the work.

sir neil when i hold the cue loosely i think i gonna miss or loss control of cue,,,,yes i will give it a try tonight in my game....i grip the cue tight and gonna hit the kick maybe this is the reason i can't make a draw even and 1-3 inches back to me all make stun shots

How hard do you hit draw shots? To get excellent, straight action on the cue ball, when I'm practicing with it close to the object ball, I shoot more softly, not harder, than normal.

westlife...You're doing one of three things (or all of them). Either you're not aiming low enough, you're gripping too tightly, or you're dropping your elbow before contact. Any one of those will produce results like you're getting. Do all of them and you can't draw the CB to save your life! LOL Hope this helps.
