Broken Lock
Silver Member
So I got myself a gold crown finally!!! One minor problem, one of the slates has a brake in the corner. I'm thinking about using some type of epoxy to put back together and then clamp some angle iron to it to keep it a level as posible. The two pieces fit VERY well together. Just want it to play right...

Any suggestions welcome. Here are pics of broken slate.

I was thinking the same thing! I just had this fall in my lap last week! O well, I'm sure I'll be giving you a ring if this doesn't turn out! Is important to use chicken noodle, or will chick and stars work? what about tomato???

I like all mentioned. ..

I think it's turning out nicely. Took clamps and straps off this morning. Gave it a full day and a half to cure. I didn't have a big clamp so I clamped on the sides and snugged the pieces up with ratchet straps.

congrats on the quality work.

Im getting my 2 piece slate put back together into one piece this weekend.

Only thing is the crack goes all the way across the middle. Ill try and take some photos to show how it is done.

fingers crossed my $350 table doesnt become a $1350 table.
