I have a Meucci Original " Hook " Cue,

I use this cue daily, I recently purchased a Ob 1 shaft.

I cant make my mind up one where I should keep it or not, Or maybe put a leather grip on it and just keep the cue and not worry about if its in original condition. Right now its in the original condition,

Does this make sense?

Should I keep this cue or get a custom cue or maybe a schon cue

I'm dumb enough about cues to not know what a "Hook" Meucci is, but if you like the way the cue plays and it's not a rare collectors cue, I'd fix it up the way YOU want it and keep on using it. Why change if you're happy with it? Of course, if something about the hit or playability is bothering you, then that's another matter entirely.

The " Hook ," is one of meucci's classic designs. If you can satisfy your
desire for a better hit with a custom shaft why in the world would you part with it? Why would Meucci's cues have all these cool nicknames if they
weren't part of pool history? I shoot with an 84-7. 26 years old. Beside
the fact that I will be dead I would shoot with it another 26 years.
