Need feedback on ON Q cases

Ive never seen one but am thinking about trying one. I would appreciate some feedback on how the cases are made and whats good about them and what concerns they may also have. Ive had Justis and Whitten and want to try something different. Although if any are for sale, I may be in the market for a tube Justis 2x4. And Maybe an ON Q. Thanks for any feedback and pics you could provide. Thanks in advance, Deacon

The only one I have seen was james walden's... I asked him about it...
He said he liked it... It looked very well made... I may be getting one myself...
Also I know they will do almost anything you want to the case, as far a customization...

I have a an OnQ 3x5 that I really like!

Upon receiving my case (which is an earlier model)

When I opened the lid the seam tore. Keep in mind this is a "stiff" lid and the leathers only memory was in a CLOSED POSITION! The tear in the seam actually loosened things up a bit lets see there are a modest NINE Rivets that attach the lid/strap to the case itself so it's not going anywhere!

I called Garth who owns OnQ, as I had a tourney coming up and I couldn't go without a case! He explained that my earlier case used a thicker piece of leather that was not as pliable as his current design.

HERES THE BEST PART DEACON!

I bought this case at a STEAL of a price from Mr. Grassley and Garth at OnQ knowing that I did not buy the case from him gave me a standing offer to return the case for free repair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since the seam isn't visible and my case functions properly, I like it just fine!

Durable,Functional,Well Built and most importantly Backed up by the builders integrity!

Don't have a case built to match that Bluegrass I WANT IT!:D

Thanks for the great information and pics. I dont think I will have one made for the Bluegrass just in case the bluegrass grows legs. Are the butt and shafts held pretty firmly or do they wiggle around when the case is closed? Thanks, Deacon

Also Garth who owns On Q is very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him at all. Another cool thing is he will mail you leather samples if you are indecisive about what type of leather you want on your case.

I recently had the pleasure of owning an OnQ case. Extremely well made, 100% custom, NOT cowboy style (thank God). Possibly one of the best values on the market.

Only reason I sold it is that it did not have any pockets. (Garth makes them either way) Very impressive cases.

Oh yeah - NO child labor! Made here in the good ol' US of A. Not made in China or Taiwan with some front company in, ohhh, say, South Carolina!! :D
