Hey guy's new to the forum but have been playing for years. I just moved to AZ and am looking for a super cheap deal on a good table. I know you get what you pay for.. but still, there seems to be tons of tables on the market that people need gone due to moving, downsizing etc.

The thing is i'm looking for a super cheap table, maybe one I can re-felt. I don't really care about the size but would prefer a 7' or 8 footer. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I can post pics of some tables I've found. Also, I know Olhausen is a good brand but are all of their tables good no matter what? What should I look out for? Does anyone have any free time to help me out with this if I post pictures? Thanks for the help in advance.

Just look on craigslist often. I found a free 8' slate Olhousen because I happened to be looking 27 minutes after it was posted and I was the first one to call him. Even came with some cheaper Aramith balls, sticks and a cue holder.

It's waiting in the garage to be setup now :)

Keep in mind that setup and new cloth will cost about $500 if not more for good work.

I got quotes from two of the best table mechanics in my area and both were in the $700 range for new cloth, setup and tightening the pockets.

You should post your table questions in the Ask the Mechanic forums, although you may get fewer replies, you will get replies from people that work on the tables.
