Need help - Hard vs Soft Case

I need some help choosing a case that won't break the bank. I'm looking for a 3x6 or 4x8 and stay under $200. I would appreciate any opinions or experience you have on the subject. Thanks!

I've been looking at the following:
- Joe Porper VIP Cordura Case (Soft Case 4x8)
- Pro Series 4x8 Soft Case
- Sterling 3x6 Hard Case
- Action 3x5 Hard Case

I wouldn't go for a soft case if I care about my cue being safe. Recently when I went to play straight pool (no jump/break needed) I carried my cue in a light-weight soft case instead of my 3x6 hard. Several times I had to regret about that, so since then I just pull my j/b out and carry my precious in a hard case. Hope that helps.

Giuseppe makes a great case and is very affordable. My first 3 cases were Giuseppes.
