I have been reading here for almost a year, this will be my first thread. I have a maple dashed schon I would appreciate help identifying. I can't find it in the r-series catalog, or any of the others on the palmercollector website.

Also I don't know how to post pics. Can point me to a thread that explains it? Otherwise I can e-mail them. Thanks, Matt

go to www.schoncues.com and email a picture to Evan Clarke , he will be able to tell you about it..

just be sure to ask exact questions.. he is difficult to get info out and will only answer direct questions...

like, dont ask "Can you tell me about my cue?"

because the answer you will get is the model number and if your lucky the year.. just be sure to ask direct questions..

Here is an early Schon R series that as far as I know is unique, Evan told me they would dress up cues and charge by the inlay. Here is the one I have. you should also email evan at info@schoncues.com

Here is what I asked Evan and what I got in return.

Q "Can you please identify this cue? I purchased it from Doc's in the early eighties."

A "Hi, No name, we used to dress up the "standard" cues with a couple optional inlays for a per inlay price. I have only started giving special cues a name in the last few years. EC"

That being said, I would think your cue is an all dolled up R6, not sure what mine is, maybe an R1.1
