Need help identifying the maker of this cue

There is no signature on the butt. The only marking is the S inside a diamond on the tip of the joint pin. I attempted to attach a photo of the pin. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

I just looked at my old Showcase cues made by Ernie Martinez and they are the same, however I still need to see it to confirm that Ernie himself made the cue

Definitely an Ernie Martinez cue made while he was at Showcase
I have a similar one, same woods I think

The shafts should have plastic inserts, kind of like Huebler

That's it. I love the way this cue plays. Any idea of it's value?

Depends a lot on the shafts
$500-800 in the current market, more if someone wants an Ernie Martinez cue made at Showcase, less if there are any issues with the cue.
Not long ago they were worth quite a bit more
Ernie was definitely in full stride when he made your cue, my guess is 1992

Wow

Thank You So Much for the info. Both shafts are in exc. condition. I found this cue and a nice Schon in a small pawn shop in Florida and was able to pick both cues up for $500. As soon as I realized the Martinez was hand made, I knew I couldn't go wrong. I just joined AZB and my first experience on the forums was rewarding and pleasurable. I'll be around in the future. Thanks Again & Have A Great Day !!
