Need Help Identifying this Cue

I have had this cue for over 20 years. Initially purchased at Best Billiards and sold to me by Ariel Carmeli back in the day when he worked there and before he started making cues. Initially it didn't have a wrap. Ariel also did the work for me.

I only want to know the identity for curiosity and record.

More importantly I would like to get the cue refinished and have 2 shafts made for it. Is there anyone willing to take this on?

John

Can I get a picture of the weight bolt and the bottom of the bumper?

Hi Patrik,

Yes of course I will send a pic. I will take a picture tonight when I get home. I think I looked once and didn't see anything but, maybe there are some assembly indications.

Thanks for the response.

I don't know who made it. But if you need refinishing work and 2 shafts for it, I'm honor to involve.

Drop me PM if you're interested in.

Dunno who made it, but looks like wenge into straight maple intended as jump/break cue given the phenolic joint at the wrap area. Which makes me think it's a conversion of a house cue given the woods used and lack of figure. Probably plays pretty nicely even as a player with a regular shaft. Impressed at the finish after 20 years.

You are absolutely right. Back in the day I would use it as my bar cue. Walk in, no case and play away. It's a nice hitting cue. Breaks nicely. Slender butt. What's really interesting is the shaft taper and the fact that it rolls amazingly straight for its age. I had it refinished shortly after purchasing it and having the wrap put on. As I mentioned both done by Ariel. At the time I think he mention "DC" or "D" something another. Such a long time ago and this was kind of before break jump cues blew up. I had put it away for a bit while I adjusted to my Gilbert. Then pulled it out the other evening and said "damn, this cue actually plays really nice". So it got me to thinking it deserves a little attention.

So that's where I am at with it.
