With Tim's recent passing, a lot of folks presumed the price of TS cues would skyrocket thru the roof.......hasn't happened yet and may not happen at all.........the market alteady reflects the fact
that for all intent & purposes, as soon as Tim retired and quit making cues a couple of years ago, the number of TS cues in the world became frozen.......so I do think think the resale market will react
any more than it already has with his recent death.........a truly fabulous cue-maker was lost and from everything I've read about Mr. Scruggs, a really great man as well.
The only cues I've seen jump up in price were TS sneaky Pete cues.......suddenly everyone thinks their SP cue is worth $800-900........and the cues don't sell on eBay or the Forum......I think TS cues
generally have a range of $1600 -$3600 and you don't see many being listed for sale for more than $4k......that's not because there aren't TS cues worth more than $4k. It's probably because those cue
owners love their TS cues & wouldn't part with them. I really feel the same about my TS cue. Money doesn't move my needle.......uniqueness and rarity is more important than money for me.........of course, only up to a point.
