I have a 3 piece slate 9' table in my basement that needs to be set up too. I have a 7' table that is set up. I got a good deal on the 9' table and jumped on it. I considered setting it up myself but I think when I decide to take down the 7' table and move things so I can play around the bigger table - I will get a mechanic to set it up for me.

First of all, the slates weigh close to 300lbs each. Way to big for me to handle. I don't have assembly plans for the table either. I suggest you leave it to the pros - assuming there are good table mechanics in your area.

Perhaps a referral from Dakota Amusement in Bismarck if you are close to there. Which part of the State are you in? Perhaps Mike Page at Fargo Gastropub and Billiards in Fargo can help? Do not undertake this yourself is my recommendation. More bad than good can come of it. I must make it up to 4 Bears Tournament one day. Is that close to you?
