Need help with new cue

FWIW, Dufferin cues was bought out by a Chinese company a few years back. If you are going to get a Dufferin, you want to find a pre-chinese Dufferin - one made in Canada. No offense, but in your price range the last thing I would consider would be the aesthetics of the cue...

Looks aren't all that important to me, but I don't want something ugly. I really like the all black McDermott's.

you want a 'good' cue for $100 is like saying you want to buy a Lexus for a Yugo price. Good is a relative term when you are only spending a $100.

Cues in the $200-300 range are much better than $100 cues.
A really decent cue will run you $500-750.

A cue is an investment, not a toy.
