Need help with new OB cue

Hi all, I just received a prototype cue from OB and had them replace the standard tip with a kamui black med. The leather wrap is raised at both ends by half a mm+. It is also raised in one section of the seam which is very noticeable to the touch and has to gouges right next to the raised section of the seam. The ferrule has black marks around the top half just below the tip along with what appears to be scratches from sandpaper. There is also a rough section of the shaft that starts about 4 inches below the ferrule and runs about 3 inches towards the joint. I've taken the best pictures I could of the unsatisfactory areas.

I've already contacted OB and was treated rather snotty by Jennifer. I was offered to send the cue back and have the ferrule touched up and the shaft smoothed out but told that they use sandpaper to smooth out their tips. I really don't want the ferrule gouged more than it is which I conveyed to Jennifer. She stated that they could replace the shaft but her attitude suggested that I'd just get this unsatisfactory shaft returned to me. I could have the shaft refinished and a new ferrule and tip installed but that still leaves the poor wrap on the butt end.

Just looking for advice on which way to go with this and if im being to picky. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

P.S. I currently own an OB cue with 2 classic+ shafts with no issues at all and I do like their products.

I hate to hear that.. I ordered one of their prototypes too the other day. Jennifer and Shane were both very nice to me. I would certainly ask them to replace the shaft. As far as the butt of the cue goes. I'm not sure that could be remedied easily. Looks like they would have noted that as a flaw in the cue before you bought it.

Sorry that you are unhappy with the cue and also your conversation with Jennifer.

If you return the cue to us we will fix the wrap and either fix the shaft to be in perfect as new condition or replace the shaft.

Either way, we will take care of you.

If you have any further questions, feel free to email me at shane@obcues.com as I don't check AZ every day.

Apologies once again, we will make that right.

Ob is ALWAYS doing right by folks!
