Need info on a Cue

Story behind it:

Guy comes in Macon Billiards in 1965, road player, sells a Muecci to a friend. My friend gets incarcerated until 2005. When he gets out, guy gives him his stick. He is not sure this is the same stick but thinks it is because it is in the original It's George style hardcase(did george make cases back then?). Anyway, this stick was acquired in 1965 and says Muecci Original. It is a simple 2 point wood inlayed butt with a light colored wrap. Anyone have any info on Muecci? I know he made them from 1975-1998, but my book also said he made some going back to the early to mid-60's....we are wanting to know if this cue could be one of the first Muecci's???? Any help is appreciated
 
Too many things about the story are inaccurate. There were not any cases being made by Its George then, and Bob Meucci wasnt producing meucci originals until 1975. Im thinking the guys timeline is seriously off. A 40 year jail sentence and the guy who originally sold him the cue and case is still hanging around to deliver it almost a half century later?.......
I would say its an embellishment, or even an entire non truth from your friend.

It's GEORGE cases were not made until the 80's.

MEUCCI made a few cues in CHICAGO in 64/65. They were NOT marked MEUCCI ORIGINAL. The MEUCCI I had in 65 had a SS JT----NOT implex. I'm not sure but I don't think he used the MEUCCI ORIGINAL logo until the late 70's or 80's.:)
 
K..thats what I wanted to know....the friend in question was not sure if the stick in the case was the same stick....this answers our question...I knew Muecci made them in 65 but wanted to know the logo on them,...that answers it......THANKS TO THE BOARD!
