hi .. when u mention best vaccum sealed case means the external envoironment will not affect the shaft inside at all ?

im al most positive the are water tight if that what you are asking. you can feel suction when you open and close it. everything fits like a glove top notch

I will post pics as soon as I get mine. It is a elephant ear case with ivory pegs instead of metal studs on the bottom. I got it for my high end Cochran!
I have a feeling they are going to be real sought after.
Nick :)
PS
I love my Ron Thomas 2x4 fine leather ostrich print case!

The cases aren't really vacuum sealed. That would be an absence of air inside and would require a release of some sort to break the vacuum.

Nor are they water proof or water tight. They are water resistant and if you put them under water they will keep out the water for a little while. The tolerances aren't there to form a perfect seal with the current construction method.

I know. I have been studying this design for a while now and have dissected many Fellinis, Centennials, Georges, and Thomas cases in order to understand how they work and how to make them better.

The extruded tube design is pretty good and does provide something of a seal when the case is closed.

Don't be lulled into thinking however that this is an insulator like a thermos bottle. It's not. There is air and moisture inside the case when you close it. There isn't much in the way of airflow though so the moisture can't escape quickly when it evaporates.

Soon you will all see the better mousetrap so to speak with the introduction of some great improvements on a great design. One more good choice.

It looks like there are some good casemakers coming out. It's about time that more people took an interest in this part of the cue business. Hundreds of cuemakers and only a few good casemakers......
