I am kind of in a dilemma on what material/s would be best for a jump-cue. I have a Fury jump-break cue/13mm shaft which I just want to use for only jump shots just using the handle part that screws into the shaft, and was deciding between the phenolic ferrule/tip combo and the G-10 ferrule/tip combo. Would like to know which one would give me the best results for jumping balls. Any good advice would be appreciated!

Thanks

I have what I think is a normal ferrule on by jump cue, with a phenolic linen tip. I have zero problems jumping with it, its effortless. I use a hard leather tip for breaking, but have been thinking about trying the samsara jump/break tip on my break cue. Im gonna stay phenolic (brown kind) on my jump cue.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the info jmizzo, I do have the brown type phenolic material on one of the fury shafts and was thinking of putting the g-10 on another to see if it was the same, better, or worse. Was just trying to get some insight to see if others have tried both. I would like to try that Samsara tip as well.

whats wrong with the stock 1 piece graphite? otherwise go phonelic or even get a saber-t capped. they are strong and stay pefect white fo about forever seems like. is what i use on my break cue with a white dimond tip and have had no issues.
