Ok, tonight while i was shooting in a tournament the owner of the pool hall and myself got to talking about cues, and the last time we talked, I had said something about looking for a new cue.

Well of course as i walk in, he pulls out his Schon. I asked him about it, because i had never seen a Schon like this. He told me it was custom made by Schon. The cue is nice, has several inlays and all the good stuff, along with also having NO WRAP. So all the designs are where the wrap would be.

It has never been shot with, with the original shaft, he did have a Espiritu shaft made for the cue, so i used that to see how the cue felt. It was nice, it was a bit heavy, he told me it was like a 19.5.

My old Schon was 18oz and loved it. and would love to get another Schon like a LTD or this one.

But he wants about 1000$ with both shafts. I am just curious if its worth the buy, for a custom Schon. I am still interested in buying a Jacoby

I vote No, that's a bit high for a schon IMO.

Yep, a bit pricey. The Jacoby will play just as good. My buddie let me try his Jacoby and it was a sweet playing cue.

schon cue

I have seen a Schon cue with no wrap. John Hager Jr. has one that is beautiful. Was an ebony cue with ivory where the wrap would be? Just curious. I like Schon cues allright but they don't all seem to hit the same IMO. As far as $1000 being to much, it depends, that is just relative.

as far as the one you inquired about, I'd never pay that much for a Schon, good luck retaining the value...
