I'm looking for some aluminum t-slot material (Does anyone know what it's real name is?) to hold down a pair of indexers that are longer than the 6" X 18" I am trying to find a source for it and its correct name. Any ideas?

Thank you,

John

Fractional T-Slot material...

20/20 or Bosch. Bosch is better IMO. Depends exactly what you are trying to do.
I am building a CNC out this material and Bosch aluminum extrusion has more "meat" to mill flat for my rails. It is thicker and flatter ( more square) towards the slot. The 20/20 edges are more rounded over at the slots. Take a look at both profiles and you will see what I mean.

The Bosch IS more expensive though. Just Google it- aluminum T-Slot material and you will find tons of links.

Good luck!

I have used 80/20's stuff before and have been happy with it. They have a store on ebay.
