Need to find my killer instinct

To continue with the Fast Eddie example. Sometimes his motivation was pure but he never got rid of his need to be validated by others. All throughout both movies he suffered when others did not put him on a pedestal. Even at the end his motivation for playing was to earn the respect from Vincent that he desperately wanted. His own opinion of himself mattered less to him than Vincent's opinion of him did. Like I said, Fast Eddie had moments of pure motivation but in the end he was back to his old self. The same guy that walked into Ames years before needing everyone to tell him how great he is.

I am in the same boat. No killer instincts. I only gamble what I can afford to lose and don't play with the same intensity as my opponent. Wont bet more. Gambling and being a gambler are two different things. Only time I may step up my focus is when playing a loudmouth. Usually play those I know and could care less about making money. Got it, why gamble. Not sure and I probably shouldn't.

start with your dream...

if it's to win.... you'll see the steps to take...
if it's to have fun...you'll see that too

Focus on your dream... the ideas will start to flow.
I have to say though that if the goal is to win..it's only
'fun' WHEN you win!
