and looking for any bars or pool halls that has weekly tourneys

There's a publication and Facebook page named "Cue Times Billiard News" out of Denver, you may can find

The only regular tournaments current running are at Fountain Corner Pocket. Friday night at 7:30, Saturday afternoon at 4 and Sunday afternoon at 4. Recommend you call or check Facebook before making the trip.
