Needs help which one to get....

I am in the market on upgrading my porper lathe tool post to quick change.....

Is the shars AXA is a good product the will fit my porper or is there any other better quality? There is a piston vs wedge don't know which is better... should I get the 3/8 or 1/2 shank?

The wedge type is supposed to be more repeatable but I have both types on different lathes and I like the piston type much better.

The best is Aloris, a wedge type, but for cuemaking it is generally over kill. The piston types can rock off center under heavy load, but you can't load them in wood enough to be a problem.
