Hello All.
Can anyone recommend me a person that does good work on cues? I need to replace tips on couple of shafts and do some other minor work.
I do not know any local cue makers but, i know there are few guys that do very good job on cues. Just do not have the info.
I'd greatly appreciate the help.

2 of them

Two of the best in our area. Mike Webb (RI) and Joe Callaluca (NH). You can pm them here. Mike is a nice guy to deal with, straight and dedicated. Joe, I didn't met him yet, but from what I've heard his doing a great job with repairing and refinishing cues.

Hope this was helpful.

What he said. Both gentlemen do amazing work. You can't go wrong with either.

Great place indeed.
Used to live in Groton, then moved.
Thanks for the info.

Thanks man.

Glad to see you got hooked up.

FWIW - Over the years, I've owned two Webb cues (and still have one), and 3 Callaluca cues.

The work done on all 5 was perfect. Fit and finish is outstanding...and solid as a rock.

Good luck!

tip guy

if all you need is tips replaced, you really do not need to go to a cue maker, sure they will do great work, but some of them do not want to do tips. I know Joe C because he did an elephant ear wrap on my cue, great guy and great work. I am not speaking for either of these guys, just my opinion, going to a cue maker for a tip is like going to a top surgeon to get a hangnail removed. there is a guy from my poolhall, world class in peabody, John Z., he owns his own worldwide chemical company and is very well off, but loves doing tips and repair work, I do not think he does it for the money as he only charges $5-10 for most stuff, but he is a perfectionist and does great work. usually has a day or two turnaround. pm me if you want his number, or go to 1 of the other guys, you cant lose here.

Thanks for your feedback guys. I am pretty sure i found right people(thanks to you).
Both Mike and Joe are really nice guys, can not wait to meet them.

Mike and Joe are great choices. Joe is often at Boston Billiards in Nashua, NH on Wednesdays. If you play at World Class, I would also highly recommend John. He does more than just tips. Very meticulous. I trust him with my cues. Boston Billiards and World Class are about the same distance from Andover. Both options allow you to talk with these guys directly.

Thank you Greg. I will check out the place in NH. Yes, it is not far from me.
If so many guys recommend John at World Class, then he MUST be good.

There is also Steve Therrien 603-973-3571 whom works out of Busters Billiards in Sommersworth NH. He is pretty well known in NH and ME.
