Initially I thought 6000RMB is pretty steep, but it’s probably worth some money just for the entertainment value back in your home country or any other Western country.
One other idea: See if you can get them to make a plain leather bag (for free of course) that can fit the whole case inside it, this would let you travel with the case without damaging the art work or having to trust the Saran Wrap machine at the airports.

They have loads of different ones available, but actually, I think their selling point is the fact you can literally request and work to create any design you like. You can even help to make it in the workshop. It's a pretty cool idea. There's some really far out ones. I just picked the stupidest one, with a cartoon I used to watch as a kid on it. Maybe I will post up some other interesting ones when I have time later.

Now I am designing a cue bag that is a pi based portable data center. Electronics are just so much fun.
The low power version can do basic sensor recordings via wifi or bte.
The full power version will provide biometric support during my competitions.

I am curious too @justnum how he allegedly know all this but didn't bother to respond. To be honest it sounded too freaking absurd, especially the comment "China loves short men", highly doubtful.
