Powerball

If we do a raffle, do we go $200,$100 or 50 etc? also how do you pick the winner?
If I may suggest, snowmon34 just raffled off an Olney using the powerball, they have 2 drawings a week.
I would check with him or read the entire thread. If was fun and for a cue like this I would do 14-15 entries at $100.00 each.
Just a suggestion but I would definately buy a ticket :)

Well...think of it this way. You're asking $1350. Neither $200 nor $100 goes into that evenly. $200 is a bit steep anyway...but you'd either have to lower your total price on it to $1200, or raise it to $1400. At $100 a pop, you'd need to do the same thing...and have to sell twice as many tickets. Now...while $50 is the most palatable raffle ticket price for most...you'd need 27 tickets to hit your number. Not saying that's impossible...but there have been a couple Sugartree's that have tried to go this route already that didn't gain enough traction to go forward. This cue is lightyears ahead of that cue in my opinion, however...so you never know.

I can't help but wonder why on earth you're selling this cue. That thing is so damned beautiful. That's a keeper in my books. If I had the loot...I'd buy it...and die with it. I can't wait to get back to work. This cue would have never had a sniff at being auctioned off.

And this is an infinitely nicer Sugartree than the other one being raffled at http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=95597. In the third pic down it's got a huge nick in the handle.

If you end up doing $50 a ticket...you might consider letting people purchase more than one ticket. Might help you hit 27.
