Even though I'm still getting used to Virtual Pool 4 (still loving it), thought I'd go ahead and try Pool Nation - since the thread was here for discussion. Downloaded and installed the free Online-only FX version from Steam (also available on X-Box apparently).
:frown: Unfortunately, I don't have nearly as smooth of a graphics play, i.e. it jumps and skips several frames when I break, and the mouse feels like I'm dragging it through oat meal - regardless of the video settings and mouse settings I've tried. Now my 'puter's not bad - I have Win 7 Pro on a Asus laptop with an I-7 processor and a discreet NVidia card - usually I keep up with any online game I play no problem. I'm hoping this is just a configuration issue that I can improve.
FLASHY is right! - lots of flash and cool stuff

- I haven't seen any 'normal' looking balls or cues in the piles of unlocks, though. It all looks like neon candy.
Some of the features - Artistic Pool and Endurance look pretty interesting and fun - don't know if I'll play enough to unlock them, but they look to be quite cool.
Anyway - until I see a smoother interface, the game does not even compare to VP4. If the interface was better, It could be a lot of fun - maybe - if I can get past the neon candy theme. I'll update if I can get better play out of it, and welcome suggestions.
