I don't have this cue in hand yet, but I KNOW it will be amazing. Thursday can't come soon enough :D

Just got these pics from Jeff today!

This cue has some of the most amazing birdseye that I have ever seen!

18 slotted rings in all 5 locations. Jeff said this was his first cue with these rings!

Wow, thats some birdeye! I love the windows in the butt, very nice cue.

Yea, the pics do look great. But like everyone else says "Pictures do this cue no justice". I'm VERY sure this is the same way.

I have a 6 pt. (3 high Cocobolo, 3 low Ebony) by Jeff right now that plays amazing. Now with the purpleheart handle, this cue is going to be incredable!

That olney looks amazing. Jeff must get the cream of the crop when picking that BEM out. The cue looks great. Congrats to you man.

Yea, I don't know where he gets his birdseye, but it does look amazing. He told me that the Tulipwood in the cue is around 12 - 14 years old with purpleheart just as old.

My hands are itching with excitement.

He better not, lol! As long as I get it before League on Thrusday, I'll have a full review on Friday morning.

Dean,

Awesome cue man. That is some of the sickest birds eye maple I have seen.

I'm interested to know if you'll be able to feel the difference in the way the cues play.

Looking forward to reading your review!

A few more pics that I just received.

I received the cue yesterday. Like everyone else states. Pics do not do this cue justice! The birdseyes POP and the tulipwood glows. Just fantastic. When I hit with this cue it has the oh, so satisfying 'tonk' sound. The shaft weights 4.2 oz. and has a Jensen Milk Dud tip. This cue shoots straight and true!
I don't notice much difference between the purpleheart and standard handle as far as feel. That may just be me also. But, this cue IS very solid. While my other Olney cues are solid this one seems slightly stiffer, in a good way. Where ever you aim is where the ball is going to go.
This cue has met and exceeded my expetations I just wish my skills could match. I only won 1/2 of my matches last night, but I didn't lose by much. And the problems were all mine. I let several people try this cue out and they all said how amazing it looked and how solid this cue is.
I would urge anyone who is seriously looking for a new cue to contact Jeff. Even if you would have to wait 4 years. It IS well worth the wait:thumbup:   .

Thank you Jeff for another masterpiece. I WILL be contacting you for another.

Take care,

Dean:D

Congratulations on receiving your Olney cue!

My recommendation would be to hang on it. Not only is the birdseye of the highest grade but so is Jeff's work.

Bryan

You are absolutely right, Bryan. I have had 3 Olney's in my time, so far. And I will never give up my first one or this one.

OLNEY 4 LIFE!
