Yeah, but it's shape is easier to feel out than say, a tip pic. These little lights are pretty amazing...

I bought the "super" Glo top model with white LED's...$26.99. I just ordered 6 more...they really are amazing little lights. Burn time forever and a day, uses 9 volt battery that can be picked up in any mini mart.

I live where there are frequent power outages, so we keep 'em handy on bedside tables, the table by the tv viewing chairs, etc. etc.

And yes, they do provide enough light to hike a totally dark mountain trail. Wish they'd been around when I was backpacking.

A real playa could find what he needs by feel, within a reasonable amount of time; If you can't do this, your not playing enough, or too much. One or the other.:p
 
That's a cute little light and all but I gotta say , you coulda picked up like 50 of those little keychain LED flashlights for the cost you have tied up in those. . . and then you could just clip one of those to the zipper or something and it'd be right there all the time.

Neat light like I said but anything over like $5 for a couple LEDS and a tiny PCB woulda been alot IMO.

Seriously? I know where everything in my case is, I could easily get anything I needed with my eyes closed. It's not like I have a million things in there; tip pick, very fine grit sandpaper, 100 grit sandpaper(for tips), tip shaper, micro-fiber cloth, moose head bridge and a box with five different kinds of chalk.

PLUS, I have a cell phone if I need a light.
 
Better yet

Is 'The Owl', which is credit card size, has a magnifier on it, and a light for reading menus in the dark, or a dark menu in a dimly lite restaurant.

It would do what you want to. They are $9.99 off TV or website.

Ideal for scorekeeping in leagues to see the darn thing.
 
I have a 12 LED flashlight that's built like a tank (heavy duty aluminum), has rubber o-rings to keep water out, is 3 1/2" long with a 1" diameter, is light weight and came with three Duracell AAA batteries. It also has a lanyard that came with it. It fits easily in my case or in a pocket.

I bought it from a guy that comes by the local pub and sells socks and all kinds of other stuff (we call him The Sock Man). I paid $5 for it, no tax. Works great and is bright as all hell.

I recently bought four more one for my wife, one for my mom, one for my sister, and one for my sister in law.
