hiya all,

finaly the new aramith cues and shafts are comming to reality.

this week (05/04/06 - 09/04/06) Gino Vermeersch wil be going with Saluc to the BCA trade expo in the USA (Houston,TX) to present there new gear.

They will be presenting a new line of cue's

Here is what u can read on www.saluc.com

Aramith Low Deflection Shaft : the new technology.

Based on several new high tech components and advanced technologies including the Acuerate technology, the Aramith Shaft will drastically reduce the cue ball deflection. Designed to fit on any existing butt, a full line of Aramith Low Deflection Cues will also be available . Soon available in retail stores.

There will be more then just new cue's and shafts too. U can get more info on the website of the BCA and then on the site of the expo.

I got this info from gino who works for aramith and is a good pool playing friend of mine.

they tested the amount of deflection themselves vs other shafts and the results look promising. cant tell u more then this yet.

if so, im sorry, i thought it was new as they werent comercialy available yet, aramith is from belgium and im the only player from there on the board...

if u mean, that u dont like reading about new gear posts.. then i cant help u. this is the right place to discuss this.

I've been on the look out for feed back on these shafts after seeing them on salucs site around a month ago, havn't noticed any threads myself.

Does the shaft come with a disclaimer that the low deflection shaft is only guaranteed when using their measel cue ball or the TV balls.

No, because that cue ball is heavier than a red dot. I KNOW IT!

I heard about this shaft like 3 months ago. I would like to try one, like someone said, "They could be deadly".
Evetybody is looking for these low deflection shafts, There is one company that guarantees NO DEFLECTION with thier shafts. The name of the shaft is don't laugh, The Yak XD shaft. Do a search with Yak XD shafts. Check it out, I'd like to know what people think about this shaft. :D

I saw the thread too, but who cares! Let's hope the shafts work and don't cost a fortune.

i dont know how much they will cost, but one of our topplayers has played with one he got from Gino before he left to the usa, and he seems to love the shaft. But like anything new, we need more then just 1 thumbs up. I hope more will try it and post here how they are.

i also suggested to send a shaft to platinum billiards to add to there delfection sharts. it seems they used there own robot and lab to make there own comparison and it seems to be very low deflection shaft in the same category as the 314's ,z's, ob's, etc.

i havent got a chance to try one out for free, but if u did have this chance let me know how they played.
